Don't forget your cameras for pictures with the Easter Bunny! There will be great photographic opportunities as the Easter Bunny will be at the Bunny Breakfast, at the Hunts, and on the stage by the Visitors Center.
The Hunts will be held outdoors* at the Pioneer Area and festivities will include 104.9 The Wolf hosting the Hunts and broadcasting live. Join Wolfie, the Easter Bunny, and Bill the Bear for entertainment and music as they help announce the countdown to collecting these brightly-colored pastel eggs, an annual spring tradition that offers lots of fun as well as a good opportunity to shoot exciting video or photos for great family memories.
Don't forget to bring your Easter Basket to the Hunts!
We will also be having an Easter Egg Scavenger Hunt...kids can find the Easter eggs on an expedition that will take them all over the Park from the train to the Snakes n'More Exhibit! Those who find at least 15 of the 20 Easter eggs can turn their completed list in to the Information Desk to be entered in a contest for a giant Easter Basket filled with all kinds of wonderful spring surprises!
There will be special educational presentations: don't miss our Spring Animal program in Forest Hall "Eggstatic about Eggs" and
public feeding of our beautiful wolves with, "Easter Eggs To the Wolves". There will be face painting by the popular and talented "Zoo Lady", train rides with Bill the Bear and Shadow the Groundhog and so much more!
